A Unique Asakusa Photoshoot Experience
Some photos are captured with a fisheye lens, creating fun and unique images of Asakusa that you simply can't get with a smartphone.
Experience Tokyo Before the Crowds
Most visitors see Tokyo during the busiest hours. An early morning photoshoot lets you experience a quieter side of Tokyo while creating beautiful, natural photographs. The soft morning light, cooler temperatures, and uncrowded streets make it one of the best times to explore Asakusa.

"The highlight of our Japan trip."
Out of all the things we did on our Japan trip. Renting kimonos and taking pictures with Hide we the highlight of our trip. He was very professional. He was able to direct us into poses. He was able to allow us artistic freedom as well for some of the pictures. He was able to get our pictures back in the a lotted time he promised to have them in by. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND doing this during our trip.
About Hide
You'll be shooting with Hide — the person behind the experience.
Hi, I'm Hide. I started my photography career in 2001. During my first decade as a professional photographer, I mainly photographed actors, actresses, musicians, and bands for magazines. Today, I use that experience to create natural, timeless photos that help travelers enjoy Tokyo and remember their journey for years to come.

Best Photoshoot Locations I Recommend
Shot with a fisheye lens
Tokyo offers many beautiful locations for natural and memorable photos.
Asakusa is my most popular location, offering a unique mix of traditional Tokyo — streets, temple, and local atmosphere.
Early morning is especially beautiful before the crowds arrive.
Nezu Shrine is known for its stunning red torii gates and peaceful atmosphere.
Shinjuku Gyoen offers beautiful gardens and a quieter side of Tokyo.
You can combine Asakusa with Nezu Shrine, or let me know if there's another location you'd like to explore.
See Tokyo at Its Best
Tokyo can be loud and busy — but mornings in Asakusa and Nezu Shrine feel surprisingly calm. Many guests tell me the same thing after visiting Kyoto: “We loved the quiet atmosphere and slow feeling there.” That's the kind of experience I hope to create in Tokyo too.
A peaceful morning walk through Asakusa or the beautiful red torii pathways of Nezu Shrine — creating natural photographs and
some of your favorite Tokyo memories.

Absolutely incredible experience with Hide in Tokyo. From the very beginning, everything felt easy and natural. Hide guided us through Asakusa in a way that never felt rushed or forced. What stood out most was how peaceful the morning felt. Before the crowds arrived, we were able to enjoy a quieter side of Tokyo while creating beautiful family memories together. Hide knew all the best spots and helped us feel comfortable throughout the session. The photos are wonderful, but what we will remember most is the experience itself. If you're looking for more than just photos—if you want one of your favorite memories from Tokyo—Hide is the photographer to book.
What guests said after the shoot
From booking to photo delivery — everything was incredibly smooth
Since we have a 7-month-old baby, we originally planned for the whole family to wear kimono. But we were worried our baby might get fussy while we were getting ready. In the end, only our child wore a kimono, and we stayed in our casual clothes — which made the experience much easier and more relaxed.
I found Hide via AI search, looking for a family photographer in Tokyo. I looked very last minute, while I was already in Japan (visiting from the US) but I saw on Hide’s website site, he does next day photography if he’s available so I took a chance and reached out to him via WhatsApp. He replied right away and was extremely easy to communicate with and flexible with his availability. I reached out over the weekend and was able to schedule for the following Monday morning. He was helpful with meeting location and he was waiting for us when we arrived on Monday morning. He also asked us at the beginning what type of photos we were looking for and helped us with poses and knew all the best spots to shoot. The whole process was really fun and efficient and we ended up with sooo many amazing family photos we will cherish forever. He also delivered the photos so quickly which I was impressed by as well. I’d highly recommend Hide and wouldn’t hesitate to book with him again next time we visit Japan.
More than a photoshoot
A peaceful Tokyo morning you'll remember long after your trip. Enjoy a fun moment with your family, partner, or friends. I hope you leave with more than photos — memories you'll still smile about years later.
